HP firmware upgrade

Firstly install the Minicom:

apt-get update
apt-get install minicom
minicom -s

Choose "Serial port setup"
A - Serial Device : /dev/ttyS0
Type /dev/ttyS0 (or another serial port you use)
E - Bps/Par/Bits : 9600 8N1
F - Hardware Flow Control : Yes
Change this value to No

Choose "Save setup as dfl" or another profile name
then use minicom .

Firmware

If you change the primary firmware you should run the secondary! Firstly you check which firmware is running: show flash boot system flash secondary

TFTP flash

copy tftp flash 192.168.213.1  /hp/K_114_79_hpl_2_02v.swl primary

After go back to the primary:

boot system flash primary

Openflow connect to controller:

To show the OpenFlow configuration of all VLANs :

show openflow

To show the OpenFlow configuration and status for VLAN 10 :

show openflow 10

To enter the configuration mode :

configure

To enable/start OpenFlow on VLAN 10 :

vlan 10 openflow enable

To check the settings:

show 10 openflow

To disable/stop OpenFlow on VLAN 10 :

vlan 10 openflow disable

To set the controller :

vlan 10 openflow controller tcp:10.11.12.1:975

To enter the VLAN 10 context and add a passive listener for dpctl :

vlan 10
openflow listener ptcp:975

To do everything on one line :

vlan 10 openflow controller tcp:10.11.12.1:975 listener ptcp:975 enable

Add Port:

To enter the configuration mode :

configure
vlan 21 untagged 24
interface ethernet 24

VLAN Setup:

To enter the configuration mode :

configure
vlan 10 name openflow10
vlna 10 untagged 1,2,3,4
vlan 10 openflow enable
vlan 10 openflow controller tcp:192.168.213.102:6633 listener ptcp:6633 enable

If you want to check the settings, run the NOX controller with switch module with the same IP address and with the same port, that you gave.
